The Harrison Experience
High Performance, Iconic Design, Handmade to Last a Lifetime
Apart from the professional-level performance, the striking, classic look and exceptionally robust build quality, a Harrison Charcoal Oven offers many other benefits to the home chef.

Stunning Aesthetics
Design details have been thoroughly considered to achieve the best experience at every stage of cooking with a Harrison Oven – from the etching of ‘Harrison’ into the steel floor of the inside doorframe as a bold, emphatic reminder of the calibre of the oven being used, to the beautifully framed temperature gauge, which is reminiscent of the dial seen in a classic plane or car dashboard.
With many different colours and finishes, Harrison Ovens allow their customers to build the perfect oven for their individual style and culinary needs.
Super Fast Cooking Times
A Harrison Charcoal Oven can achieve heats of 250–300°C + in as little as half an hour. This means that steaks and pizzas take just a few minutes, flatbreads and vegetables less than 60 seconds and whole ducks or chickens can be roasted in less than 30 minutes.

Moisture and Flavour Enhancement
The engineering of a Harrison Charcoal Oven means that heat has four ways of getting into your food:
- Convection
- Conduction
- Radiation
- Direct
Unlike open or ceramic grills which only use direct heat, the thick, insulated stainless steel walls and ceiling of a Harrison radiate heat from the embers, which creates an even, intense heat source that quickly locks in and enhances moisture and flavour.

Controllability
The very British, refined engineering of a Harrison Oven empowers the chef to possess complete control over temperature, which enables them to produce exquisite cuisine with precision and ease.
This controllability is what sets a Harrison Charcoal Oven apart from open and ceramic grills and is the key ingredient in a Harrison’s versatility.
The interior chamber is built with a backwards sloping roof, allowing the airflow to turn and move heat around the oven. This avoids the creation of hot spots and cool areas, ensuring that the whole oven is pushing the same heat.

Economical on Fuel
The Harrison Charcoal Oven’s groundbreaking design makes it very economical on fuel consumption.
Heat Stays in the Chamber
Although the oven chamber gets very hot, the 6mm stainless steel panels on the inside of the door, plus the extra insulation inside the wall of the door ensure that minimal heat escapes outside, which not only enhances the Harrison’s performance, but also makes it a pleasant kitchen companion.

Sustainability – Hand-built to Last a Lifetime
Using British components and traditional engineering methods rarely seen these days, each Harrison Oven is handmade to order and hand-built to last a lifetime.
The simple but clever design of the oven means that there are not many moving parts, so very little maintenance is required – what adjustments are needed can be made within minutes with the use of a simple Allen key (supplied).
Made of thick, high-grade stainless steel, a Harrison Charcoal Oven can tolerate the most challenging of kitchen environments and, if used only in the private home or garden, can be handed down through generations of creative cooks.

Exceptional Versatility
From searing to roasting, baking to slow cooking, hot smoking to cold smoking – everything that a conventional oven can do is achievable in a Harrison Charcoal Oven and more – but faster, with more moisture retention and an optional smoky note.
Rust-Proof
The size, weight and rust-proof outer also makes a Harrison the perfect solution for outdoor kitchens, pop-ups, festivals, weddings and any outdoor dining event.
Easily Transportable
Weighing from 70kg (The Atom), a Harrison Charcoal Oven is both sturdy and can be easily transported anywhere. The optional wheeled cabinet has extremely robust wheels to enable the oven to be moved around the garden.
Its build quality is far superior to other ovens we looked at, it has the ability to retain heat for a long time and it feels and works like a piece of cooking equipment that has had a lot of technical expertise go into it and I know that it is built by a small company that cares.
